The site is in single land ownership, and is subject to a 21-year lease agreement. A grid connection offer has been made and connected to Electricity Northwest’s 11kV network on the 19th of September 2016. A Vestas WD34 400kW wind turbine has been installed. Its annual production figure is of an 859MWh for a Vestas WD34-400 turbine (as provided by Spectrum Energy Systems Ltd). The Drigg Moorside Farm project is currently being converted from pre-accreditation to full accreditation through the Ofgem register. The site was under the previous preliminary FIT accreditation scheme. The project has been allocated a tariff at a rate of 12.05p/kWh and an export tariff of 5p/kWh. The site was fully G59 tested and commissioned on the 19th of September 2016.
Our turbines have also been assessed by the Wind Consultancy Service (the “WCS”). The report provides an estimate of wind yield for the candidate turbine at 6.7m/s.
